* until 830 PM CDT Monday

* at 835 PM CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
areas of light rain across portions of northeast Oklahoma... which
will move into parts of northwest Arkansas later this evening. The
rain has ended across southeast Oklahoma and west central Arkansas.

The heavy rainfall from the weekend has caused area lakes... small
creeks and streams... low water crossings as well as the major rivers
to flood. This flooding will likely continue through tonight and
into Monday... if not longer. Area lakes are near or slightly over
full capacity. High releases are required and this may flood the
downstream river. Also... tributaries that feed into these reservoirs
will also back up and flood until lake levels get under control.

* Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause flooding to occur.
Some locations that could experience flooding include... Antlers...
Bentonville... Berryville... Cedarville... Charleston... Clayton...
Eufaula... Eureka Springs... Fayetteville... Fort Smith... Hugo...
Huntsville... Jay... McAlester... Miami... Mountainburg... Muskogee...
Natural Dam... Ozark... Poteau... Pryor... Rogers... Sallisaw... Siloam
Springs... Springdale... Stigler... Stilwell... Tahlequah... Van Buren
and Vinita.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where water covers the Road to
unknown depths. It only takes two feet of rushing water to carry away
most sport utility vehicles and pickups. Take a different Route to
reach your destination or wait until the water recedes. Remember...
most flood related deaths occur in automobiles.
