Statement as of 15:37 EDT je la 14an de marto 2010 ... Wind Advisory in effect from 4 am Monday to 1 am EDT Tuesday... The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 4 am Monday to 1 am EDT Tuesday. Northeast winds will increase again to 25 to 35 mph late tonight into Monday with gusts to 50 mph possible near the coast. These strong winds will likely persist through Monday evening. For Nantucket... the strongest winds will likely be delayed until Monday afternoon through Monday night. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds are forecast to be 31 to 39 mph or gusts will range between 46 and 57 mph. Winds this strong are capable of Downing small tree limbs and branches... possibly causing isolated power outages. Driving can also be difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. |
