"Life isn't about how to survive the storms, but about learning to dance in the rain." At the urging of my fellow WU dog lovers, I took some new pix of Rio Lobo (also because I know he'll grow VERY fast). Due to his tear stains, the photos look better in black & white so I converted them and like the way they turned out. I do want very much to get some outside shots of him, but by the time I get home from work it’s already dark out so hopefully I’ll get a chance this weekend.
Don’t puppies always look so sad? I guess that’s what the expression “sad puppy eyes” refers to. Trust me though, he’s happy...... fat and happy. He now weighs 10 lbs. which is a 5.5 lb. gain in 3 weeks. New name is “fatty paddy”. I have discovered that he is no night owl. It's all he can do to keep his eyes open past 8 pm. We try to keep him awake so that he'll sleep later - funny because I remember doing the same thing with my son when he was a baby.
The housebreaking continues to go well. He holds his bladder for longer and longer, which also means that he sleeps longer and it’s a blessing as I was getting pretty sleep deprived. I mentioned to his “aunt” that he really brings a spark into our home and she said that he brought such joy into her home when he was there for the weekend. I thought that was very sweet.
Oh and did I mention he now can obey the “sit” command? He’s a genius for sure, LOL.
