For the central North Pacific...between 140w and 180:1. The National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Madeline, located about 1130 miles east-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii, under AWIPS header tcpep4 and WMO header wtpz34 knhc. Madeline is expected to move into the central Pacific hurricane center's area of responsibility later today.2. A surface trough located about 600 miles south of Honolulu, Hawaii has been producing periods of poorly organized thunderstorm activity.
